1. 36 Yea, and acry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy bdoings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy cthoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.

36 참으로 또한 하나님께 ᄀ부르짖어 네 모든 도움을 구하라. 참으로 네 모든 행위로 주께 드리는 것이 되게 하고, 네가 어디로 가든지 주 안에서 행하도록 하라. 참으로 네 모든 생각으로 주를 향하게 하라. 참으로 네 마음의 사랑을 영원히 주께 두도록 하라.

2. 24 Yea, and it shall come to pass that when they shall acry unto me I will be bslow to hear their cries; yea, and I will suffer them that they be smitten by their enemies.

24 그뿐 아니라 이렇게 되리니 그들이 내게 부르짖을 때 내가 그들의 부르짖음 듣기를 ᄀ더디 할 것이요, 또한 내가 그들로 그 원수들에게 매맞도록 버려 두리라.

3. 4 Yea, whosoever will thrust in his sickle and areap, the same is bcalled of God.

4 그러하도다. 누구든지 낫을 휘둘러 거두기 원하는 자, 그는 하나님에게서 부르심을 받느니라.

4. 30 Yea, and aas often as my people brepent will I forgive them their trespasses against me.

30 참으로 또한 나의 백성이 ᄀ회개할 ᄂ때마다 내게 대한 그들의 범법을 내가 사하리라.

5. 6 Yea, today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts; for why will ye adie?

6 참으로 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든, 너희 마음을 완악하게 하지 말라. 너희가 어찌 ᄀ죽고자 하느냐?

6. 26 Nevertheless, they did find a land which had been peopled; yea, a land which was covered with dry abones; yea, a land which had been peopled and which had been destroyed; and they, having supposed it to be the land of Zarahemla, returned to the land of Nephi, having arrived in the borders of the land not many days before the bcoming of Ammon.

26 그럼에도 불구하고 그들은 사람들이 살았던 한 땅을 발견하였으니, 참으로 마른 ᄀ뼈들로 뒤덮인 땅이라. 참으로 그 곳은 사람들이 살았었던 땅이요 멸망을 당한 땅이더라. 이에 그들이 그것을 제이라헤믈라 땅이라 생각하고 니파이 땅으로 돌아오되, 암몬이 오기보다 여러 날 앞서지 아니하여 그 땅 경계에 도착하였더라.

7. 6 And after all this, after working many mighty miracles among the children of men, he shall be led, yea, even aas Isaiah said, as a sheep before the shearer is dumb, so he bopened not his mouth.

6 그리고 이 모든 일 후에, 사람의 자녀들 가운데 능하신 기적을 많이 행하신 후에, 참으로 ᄀ이사야가 말한 것같이 그가 끌려가시리니, 양이 그 털 깎는 자 앞에서 잠잠한 것같이 그가 그 입을 ᄂ열지 아니하였도다.

8. 6 But behold, it was appointed unto man to adie—therefore, as they were cut off from the tree of life they should be cut off from the face of the earth—and man became blost forever, yea, they became cfallen man.

6 그러나 보라, 사람은 ᄀ죽기로 정해졌고—그러므로 그들은 생명나무로부터 끊어졌던 것같이 지면으로부터 끊어져야 하느니라—이에 사람은 영원히 잃은 바 되었나니, 참으로 그들은 ᄂ타락한 사람이 되었느니라.

9. 3 Now they were desirous that salvation should be declared to every creature, for they could not abear that any human bsoul should cperish; yea, even the very thoughts that any soul should endure dendless torment did cause them to quake and etremble.

3 이제 그들은 모든 피조물에게 구원이 선포되기를 간절히 원했나니, 이는 어느 사람의 ᄀ영혼이라도 멸망한다는 것을 그들이 ᄂ견딜 수 없었음이라. 참으로 어느 영혼이라도 ᄃ끝없는 고통을 감내해야 한다는 바로 그 생각조차 그들을 심히 떨게하며 전율하게 하였더라.

10. 45 Nevertheless, the Nephites were inspired by a abetter cause, for they were not bfighting for monarchy nor power but they were fighting for their homes and their cliberties, their wives and their children, and their all, yea, for their rites of worship and their church.

45 그러나 니파이인들은 더 나은 대의로 고무되었으니, 이는 그들이 군주제나 권력을 위하여 ᄀ싸우는 것이 아니요 다만 그들의 가정과 그들의 ᄂ자유, 그들의 아내와 그들의 자녀, 그리고 그들의 모든 것을 위하여, 참으로 그들의 예배 의식과 그들의 교회를 위하여 싸우고 있었음이라.

11. 49 Yea, and blessed are the dead that adie in the Lord, from henceforth, when the Lord shall come, and old things shall bpass away, and all things become new, they shall crise from the dead and shall not ddie after, and shall receive an inheritance before the Lord, in the eholy city.

49 뿐만 아니라 지금 이후로 주 안에서 ᄀ죽는 자는 복이 있나니, 주께서 오사 옛 것이 ᄂ사라지고 만물이 새로워질 때에 그들은 죽은 자 가운데서 ᄃ일어나고 그 후로는 ᄅ죽지 아니하고 거룩한 성 안에서 주 앞에서 기업을 받으리라.

12. 23 And the Lord said: I will prepare unto my servant Gazelem, a astone, which shall shine forth in darkness unto light, that I may bdiscover unto my people who serve me, that I may discover unto them the works of their brethren, yea, their secret works, their works of darkness, and their wickedness and abominations.

23 또 주께서 이르시되, 내가 내 종 게이젤렘에게, 어둠 속에서 빛으로 비출 ᄀ돌 하나를 예비해 주어, 나를 섬기는 내 백성에게 드러내되, 그들에게 그 형제들의 행위, 곧 그들의 은밀한 일과 그들의 어둠의 일과 그들의 간악함과 가증한 일들을 드러내리라 하셨느니라.
